Chinese New Year's Day, according to the lunar calendar. The highlight of this festival is a procession of people in Chinese traditional costumes on the main street in Chinatown and the shopping areas of Motomachi and Sannomiya. Various events include lion dance and Chinese traditional performing arts, demonstrated daily during the festival period.
