Kobe Motomachi Autumn Festival

Kobe, Japan’s sixth largest city, is a beautiful port city located in Hyogo Prefecture, only 45 minutes from Osaka. While Kobe is best known for its world-famous beef, the city is also a great destination as a lively and cosmopolitan city, and as autumn foliage starts to turn, an excellent place to view some of Japan’s most beautiful autumn colors.

To celebrate the arrival of fall, the Hotel Okura Kobe is hosting the Kobe Motomachi Autumn Festival on Sunday Oct. 20 at its rooftop terrace garden. The event will highlight some of Kobe’s great young talent with performances from some of the regions most popular DJs, dancers and drag queens. Prepare to move to the music with disco jams by DJ D-Marbow, and watch in awe at the dance skills of the Akashi Breakers.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, but there is a discount for those who buy online tickets in advance. Alternatively if you really want to get into the spirit, turn up in your best cosplay outfits to receive a discounted ticket at the entrance.
