Annual Festival of two shrines. The main event is a parade of mikoshi between Enoshima-jinja Shrine on Enoshima Island and Koyurugi-jinja Shrine on the opposite side of the land. Mikoshi of Enoshima-jinja Shrine is carried into the sea of Enoshima.The scene of the youths jostling one another in the sea is always a vigorous and magnificent sight to behold. After that, it joins another parade of mikoshi and they are carried to Koyurugi-jinja Shrine together.
Schedule & Key events:
10 a.m. Parade starts from Enoshima-jinja Shirine
11 a.m. mikoshi goes into the sea
3 p.m. Two mikoshi arrive at Koyurugi-jinja Shrine
6 p.m. Parade returns to Enoshima-jinja Shrine

Enoshima-jinja Shrine : (1) Odakyu Enoshima Line to Katase-Enoshima Sta., and then walk 15 min. (2) Enoshima Dentetsu (Enoden) Line to Enoshima Sta., and then walk 20 min.
