Ibaraki: Suigo Itako Ayame Matsuri

Ayame (iris) Flower Festival. A million iris flowers of 500 species are in bloom in the garden. Admission is free.

The festival also feature yomeiri-fune (a boat escorting a bride) and performances of local folk dance and music.

(1) JR Kashima Line to Itako Station, and then walk 3 min. (2) From Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit, take highway bus to Suigo Itako Bus Terminal (70min.)
