Japan's Hikaru Mori won her second trampoline individual world championship on Saturday when she also secured the gold medal in the non-Olympic synchronized trampoline with Megu Uyama.
Mori, 23, the 2019 world champion, scored 56.230 points to edge Britain's 2021 winner Bryony Page, who logged 55.950 in Sofia, for the individual title. Hu Yicheng of China finished third with Uyama placing fifth.
Mori earlier had combined with Uyama to win the synchro gold, notching 50.590, the pair's second gold in the discipline after winning their first in 2018. Japan made the women's synchro podium for the fifth straight world championships.
"Believing in myself and everyone has been my theme for the tournament. It's been tough sometimes with the hard schedule, but these are the rewards for giving my all until the end," said Mori.
Mori and Uyama displayed technique and execution to come out on top in the eight-pair synchro final field. Mori was second last year when she competed with a different partner.
"I'm even happier than our first win," Uyama said on the pairing with Mori, with the two having reunited only this July.
The Japan pair finished more than four points clear of silver medalists Marine Jurbert and Lea Labrousse of France. Dafne Navarro Loza and Mariola Garcia of Mexico came third.
Japanese debutant Yamato Ishikawa won the men's individual bronze, scoring 58.480. Dylan Schmidt of New Zealand won the gold and Allan Morante of France the silver.
