Belgian top-flight side Antwerp has made an official offer for 22-year-old Japan midfielder Koji Miyoshi, sources said Tuesday.

The attacking midfielder is currently on loan from Kawasaki Frontale to fellow J. League first-division side Yokohama F. Marinos.

Miyoshi debuted for Japan in June at the Copa America in Brazil, where the Samurai Blue competed as a guest nation. He scored both goals in a 2-2 draw against Group C opponent Uruguay.

The Kanagawa Prefecture native is considered a strong candidate to play for Japan at next year's Tokyo Olympics, where the men's soccer tournament will feature under-23 sides containing a limited number of overage players.
