Midfielder Shoya Nakajima nailed his seventh goal of the season on Monday to salvage a 1-1 draw for his Portuguese first-division side Portimonense away to Pacos Ferreira.

The 23-year-old got his chance in the 73rd minute after Ghanaian Lumor Agbenyenu’s ball into the box was headed back toward Nakajima by Brazilian forward Fabricio.

Nakajima controlled the ball with his chest before curling a right-footed strike between two defenders and beating diving keeper Rafael Defendi inside the right post.
