The Chunichi Dragons on Monday announced the signings of pitchers Drew Naylor and Rafael Perez for the remainder of the season.
Naylor, a 29-year-old Australian, was 4-1 with two saves this year for the Kagawa Olive Guyners in the Shikoku Island League Plus.
The left-handed Perez, a 33-year-old Dominican, played for the Cleveland Indians from 2006 to 2012, winning 21 games in the major leagues.
Naylor's deal is worth $100,000. Perez's contract is for the same amount but includes a signing bonus.
