Former Japan coach Javier Aguirre's scheduled court hearing over his alleged involvement in a match-fixing scandal in Spain has been postponed, Spanish sports daily Marca reported Wednesday.

Aguirre was scheduled to appear in court on Friday but a new date of March 27 has been specified for declarations from the Mexican coach and some of the others accused.

The dates were changed as the current addresses of some of the defendants could not be confirmed, according to the report.

Aguirre was fired by the Japan Football Association on Feb. 3 after being named as a defendant in a criminal complaint over match-fixing involving a game between his former club Zaragoza and Levante in 2011.
