Urawa Reds’ run at their second J. League championship took a hit as their top scorer Shinzo Koroki was diagnosed with a fractured fibula, the J1 leaders said Monday.

Koroki suffered the injury when he was kicked by Kashima Antlers’ Daigo Nishi in Sunday’s 1-1 away draw, and had to be substituted in the 86th minute.
