Yuya Kamoto captured his third gold medal of the Asian Games on Thursday, when he won the men's parallel bars.

Kamoto, who turned 20 earlier this month, scored 15.800 points, while Uzbekistan's Anton Fokin was second with 15.475 and Vietnam's Dinh Phuong Thanh was third with 15.416.

Japan began its strong campaign at the Namdong Gymnasium on Sunday with a men's team gold, and Kamoto followed that with the individual all-around gold on Tuesday. He also picked up a bronze in Wednesday's floor exercise.
