COLOGNE, GERMANY – Japan midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake has been acquired by German first-division side Hannover, the Bundesliga club announced Friday.
Kiyotake, who represented Japan at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil, had been playing for relegated Nuremberg since leaving Cerezo Osaka in the summer of 2012. His contract with Hannover will run through June 2018.
