Wigan's on-loan winger Ryo Miyaichi could make his long-awaited comeback from an ankle injury against Bournemouth on Saturday in the third round of the F.A. Cup, English media reported Thursday.

Miyaichi has endured a difficult time since arriving on loan from Arsenal in the summer, but Wigan manager Roberto Martinez said he may play against the League One outfit.

"Ryo has a chance for the F.A. Cup game," Martinez was quoted as saying. "He is 80 percent of his full fitness and is joining the main group this week. We hope he is going to be back very soon."

The 20-year-old Miyaichi injured his right ankle in training having only just returned from a spell out with a groin strain in a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on Nov. 17.
