GEISEI, KOCHI PREF. – First-round coleader Hwang Jung Gon of South Korea shot a 68 on Saturday to enter the final round of the Casio World Open in pole position, one stroke ahead of Kunihiro Kamii and countryman Kim Kyung Tae.
Hwang carded four birdies without a bogey to lower his three-day total to 13-under-par 203 at Kochi Kuroshio Country Club. A 20-year-old in his second season on the JGTO tour, Hwang has one career victory but had never entered the final round in the lead.
