The Climax Series for both the Central and Pacific Leagues will start Oct. 29, with the final stage set to begin on Nov. 2, it was announced Wednesday.
The two leagues will open the new season on Tuesday, after the March 11 earthquake postponed the start from March 25.
The CL will play its makeup games after Sept. 20 and the PL Sept. 19. Further changes to the calendar might be necessary if night games cannot be played due to the electricity shortage in eastern Japan.
