Tiger Woods canceled a kids' clinic Wednesday that was to be held in Chiba Prefecture in April.

The Japan LPGA also announced on Wednesday that it had scrapped the April 8-10 Studio Alice Ladies Open at Hanayashiki Golf Club in Miki, Hyogo Prefecture.

The Studio Alice is the fourth straight cancellation made by the JLPGA following the March 11 earthquake.

The ¥60 million purse put aside for the tournament will be donated to the quake victims through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The Japanese men's tour, meanwhile, is expected to open its season as scheduled on April 14 with the Token Homemate Cup at the Token Tado Country Club Nagoya.

The JGTO is planning to organize charity events at its tournaments this season.
