MIHAMA, Aichi Pref. (Kyodo) Sakura Yokomine birdied her final four holes en route to a 3-under 69 Saturday, staying tied for the lead and firmly on track to defend her title at the Munsingwear Ladies Tokai Classic.
Yokomine, last season's JLPGA Tour money winner, reached 9-under 135 and shared top spot with South Korea's Kim Na Ri, who moved up from a tie for third after a 68 at Minami-Aichi Country Club.
Yokomine rebounded from a bogey on the fourth by birdieing the ninth, only to drop her second shot of the day on the next hole.
