JEJU, South Korea (Kyodo) Japan and South Korea split the second day of the Hyundai Capital Invitational on Saturday with two wins and a draw each.

Japan took its points total for the three-day meet to 5.5, one more than South Korea after the fourball event.

The Komei Oda and Ryuichi Oda pair picked up a win for Japan, as did Shingo Katayama and Yuta Ikeda.

Ryo Ishikawa and his former high school golfing teammate Shunsuke Sonoda shot a 66, two strokes more than Bae Sang Moon and Kang Kyung Nam.

"We had a hard time adjusting to the winds today," Ishikawa said. "There's going to be some pressure on us on the final day, but that's why we practice — so we can deal with these situations."
