HIROSHIMA (Kyodo) Sanfrecce Hiroshima striker Hisato Sato will be sidelined for two months after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated right shoulder, the J. League first-division club announced Friday.
Sato was injured during Wednesday’s second leg of the Nabisco Cup quarterfinals. The Japanese international scored one and set up another in Hiroshima’s 2-1 victory over Gamba Osaka.
