CHIBA (Kyodo) Russian Premier League-bound Japanese striker Seiichiro Maki is determined to bounce back from a disappointing season with JEF United Chiba.
"I know I have to get results in Russia by way of scoring goals constantly," Maki said Tuesday at a news conference in Chiba.
The former Japan international signed a permanent deal with Amkar Perm last week after scoring no goals in 13 appearances in the J. League second division this season, eight times as a substitute.
