SEONGNAM, South Korea – Gamba Osaka were sent crashing out of the Asian Champions League on Tuesday after a 3-0 defeat in the round of 16 away to Seongnam Ilhwa.
Colombian midfielder Mauricio Molina fired Seongnam in front from the penalty spot and Song Ho Young added the second six minutes from time before Molina’s injury-time free kick sealed victory to send the South Koreans into the quarterfinals.
