Alex Ramirez hit the first of Yomiuri's five home runs and Shun Tono pitched a six-hit shutout as the Giants routed the Yakult Swallows 12-0 Wednesday to complete a three-game sweep.
Yomiuri jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning on Ramirez's three-run shot and Lee Seung Yeop's two-run drive, both off Tony Barnette (2-2), on Children's Day at Tokyo Dome.
"I'd like to praise God for that home run today on this very special day for kids. It was a great feeling," Ramirez said.
