Japan is set to face off with Serbia, South Korea, England and Cote d'Ivoire as warmup matches for the World Cup finals in June, the Japan Football Association said Monday.

Japan will first take on Serbia on April 7 at Osaka's Nagai Stadium, which will be the last selection game for manager Takeshi Okada to decide on his 23 members for the final World Cup team.

The newly-selected team will then face South Korea on May 24 at Saitama Stadium 2002 as a sendoff match before the team leaves Japan for its training camp in Switzerland.

"The South Korea match is the final tuneup ahead the World Cup. I want to have a good match before heading to training camp in Switzerland," said Okada.

Japan will next square off against England on May 30 in Austria before taking on Cote d'Ivoire in Switzerland on June 4.
