NAGAOKA, Niigata Pref. (Kyodo) South Korea's Jeon Mi Jeong moved into position for her third win of the season on Saturday after a 7-under 65 saw her take a four-shot lead into the final round of the Yonex Ladies.
Jeon, who began the day one shot off the pace, reeled off eight birdies before making her only bogey of the day on the 18th at Yonex Country Club to reach 11-under 133.
"I never really had a good impression of this course but it seems different," said Jeon, who decided to stay on for extra practice after blotting her scorecard on the last hole.
