Japan's friendly against Togo on Oct. 14 will now be held at Miyagi Stadium, the Japan Football Association announced Monday.

The match was originally scheduled to take place at Kyushu Oil Dome, but problems with the playing surface at Oita Trinita's home stadium have forced the JFA to switch venues.

JFA chief Motoaki Inukai decided last week that the venue needed to be changed because of the poor condition of the Oita turf and had listed Miyagi Stadium as the leading candidate to host the match.
