Kameda Gym president Noriyuki Igarashi said Friday he is in talks to have 11th-ranked contender Daiki Kameda fight WBA flyweight champion Denkaosen Kaowichit of Thailand as early as this fall.

If the plan materializes, the 20-year-old Kameda will get his second crack at a world title following a unanimous decision loss to countryman and WBC flyweight champion Daisuke Naito in October 2007.

The second eldest of the three Kameda brothers served a one-year suspension from the ring after repeatedly resorting to underhanded tactics in the bout against Naito.
