SAPPORO (Kyodo) Takanobu Okabe captured his fourth straight domestic event of the season with another convincing win at the Sapporo Olympic Memorial international ski jumping meet on Friday.

Okabe, individual gold medalist at the 1995 Nordic world championships and a member of Japan’s 1998 Nagano Olympic gold medal-winning team, had the day’s longest effort of 97.5 meters on both of his jumps on the K-90 Miyanomori hill to earn 262.0 points.
