Midfielder Keisuke Honda made his debut for VVV Venlo when he came on for the second half of Sunday's 1-1 draw with league leader PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch first division. Honda, who signed from J. League club Nagoya Grampus Eight on Wednesday after an impressive showing during his trial, was unveiled by the club before going straight onto the bench for Sunday's game. Honda came on for Jason Oost at the start of the second half after the scoring had already been completed. Rachid Ofrany gave Venlo a surprise lead in the first minute but PSV equalized on 12 minutes through Balazs Dzsudzsak.
