Former Japan striker Takayuki Suzuki, who recently moved to Yokohama F. Marinos from Red Star Belgrade, said Wednesday his sights are firmly set on achieving a title victory.

“Our team goal is none other than a title victory,” said the 30-year-old Suzuki.

“I also want to revel in that moment.” Suzuki will undergo a physical on Thursday before joining the team for practice later the same day. Suzuki, who has returned to the J. League for the first time in two seasons, said his main reason for coming back to Japan is for more playing opportunities.
