The team of Hiroshi Suzuki and Mizuki Tsujio won the two-man competition at the national bobsled championships Thursday.
The duo registered a winning total time of 1 minute, 51.03 seconds for two runs at Spiral track in Nagano Prefecture, with driver Suzuki winning this event for the fourth straight year.
Suguru Kiyokawa and Ryuichi Kobayashi, candidates for the Winter Olympic Games in Turin, made a surge on their second run and took second with a total time of 1:51.19.
