Mikiyo Nishizuka upset U.S. Women's Open champion Birdie Kim and Sakura Yokomine scored a narrow win Saturday as Japan and South Korea finished their first-day matches tied in the Pinx Cup team competition.
Nishizuka beat Kim 73-77 while Yokomine edged rookie pro Park Hee Young 79-80.
