American Jeremy Bloom captured his fifth straight title in men's moguls while Jennifer Heil of Canada won the women's event at the World Cup freestyle Naeba meet Friday.

Bloom received 27.77 points for turns, speed and air maneuvers to finish ahead of Canadian Marc-Andre Moreau and Australian Dale Begg-Smith, who had scores of 27.21 and 27.12 at Mt. Naeba Snow Resort.

In women's action, Heil topped the field with 26.04 points, Kari Traa of Norway (25.56) placed second and Jillian Vogtli of the United States (25.39) came third.

Japan's Aiko Uemura took fourth with 25.03 for a personal best this season, despite a shaky air performance. Tae Satoya, who crashed on a back flip, came 16th.

Bloom and Heil claimed the overall World Cup titles with just two events remaining.
