Japan international Atsuhiro Miura has joined J. League first-division club Vissel Kobe from newly crowned Emperor's Cup winner Tokyo Verdy, Kobe officials said Tuesday.
The 30-year-old defender joined Verdy from Yokohama F. Marinos in 2001 and has made a total of 279 appearances in the J. League and earned 22 caps for the Japan national team. He also played for Japan at the 2000 Sydney Olympics as an "overage" player.
