GLASGOW, Scotland – Kentaro Namiki became the first Japanese player to complete a pass in the NFL Europe on Saturday in the Cologne Centurions 28-20 victory over the Scottish Claymores at Glasgow’s Hampden Park.
Namiki completed five out of six passes for a total of 38 yards in the game as two fourth-quarter touchdowns helped the Centurions end their first season in NFL Europe on a high.
The 2004 regular season wraps up on Sunday as Rhein visits Amsterdam and Berlin hosts Frankfurt in a World Bowl XII dress rehearsal.
