WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (Kyodo) Japanese right-hander Kazuhito Tadano, who was taking part in the Cleveland Indians' spring training as an invitee, was reassigned to the minor league camp on Friday, club officials said.

The 23-year-old Tadano was told by Indians general manager Mark Shapiro that he is among the seven players who were dropped from the top team roster as the American League club prepares to finalize the 40-man roster for the upcoming season.
