Former seven-time NBA rebound leader Dennis Rodman will restart his playing career with Long Beach Jam of the American Basketball Association (ABA) where Japanese point guard Yuta Tabuse is also playing, basketball sources said Monday.
The 42-year-old, who was let go by the Dallas Mavericks in March 2000, signed with the club which is owned by Toshimitsu Kawachi, president and general manager of the Japanese professional basketball team Niigata Albirex, and said through an agent that his goal is to return to the NBA by the All-Star break in February next year.
