Masato Uchishiba beat Tomoo Torii in the men's 66-kg weight division on a "yusei" decision Sunday to earn his first title at the Kodokan Cup national weight class championships.
Uchishiba took the lead when Torii received his third warning of the contest at Chiba Port Arena and deployed an over-the-shoulder throw with 27 seconds remaining for the decisive point.
