OGAWA, Ibaraki Pref. (Kyodo) Veteran Masahiro Kuramoto never came close to repeating his first-round heroics but still managed to maintain his lead with a 2-under-par 69 at the midway point of the Acom International on Friday.
Aiming for the 29th victory of his career, Kuramoto leads Shinichi Yokota by three strokes on a 36-hole total of 14-under 128.
