The famed North Korean cheer group gave the cold shoulder to the Japanese and U.S. athletic delegations at the opening ceremony of the World University Games in South Korea's Taegu on Thursday. Some 300 young North Korean cheer girls, who stole the show at last fall's Pusan Asian Games with their show of patriotic support, suddenly became quiet when the Japanese and U.S. delegations came forward and resumed cheering immediately after they marched off.
