Challenger Momo Koseki defeated champion and Japanese compatriot Yuko Kuroki on a unanimous decision to capture the women's WBC minimum flyweight title on Sunday.

The 35-year-old Koseki, the reigning WBC atomweight champion with a Japanese-record 17 straight title defenses, now has two world titles in different weight categories.

Kuroki, 26, was making her sixth defense of the minimum flyweight weight crown.

Koseki improved her record to 21 wins (nine knockouts) and one tie. Kuroki dropped to 17-5-1.
