Every year when we are coming near summer, I remember my visit to the “Heidiland” holiday region in Switzerland in early summer some years ago.

Maienfeld and its surrounding area was wonderful. The clean air, the deep blue sky, the beautiful mountains, the lovely green pasture, spaciousness and the peaceful atmosphere all seemed to heal and purify me completely.

Heidi was fond of her life on the mountain. She loved the mountains, the sunshine, the moon, the stars, the sky, the flowers, the pasture, the fir trees, the birds in the air. ... Thanks to all of these Swiss qualities, she could regain her health, joyful heart and happiness. She is a loving girl created by the Swiss nature.

Nature has the unique power to make us healthy both physically and spiritually.

Heidi’s friend Clara also became well again through the healing power of Swiss nature. And her physician, Dr. Classen, learned that it is good to be on the mountain; body and soul get well there, and life can become happy.

For the past several months, we have been requested to stay home because of the coronavirus pandemic. The state of emergency has been lifted. Now I feel that Heidi seems to be encouraging us to stay healthy by finding our own world of nature nearby, where we can become Heidi.
