Despite the Great East Japan Earthquake of one year ago, I am happy to be living here. There are advantages and disadvantages of every place, and I am not always a happy foreigner here. But the 3/11 disasters revealed Japan to the world as the land of the calm, the steadfast, the united; the land the of big heart and the strong. It's the land of the living who deserve to celebrate themselves.
