Sojitz Corp. announced Thursday it has won a $500 million order to build a cement plant in Angola as the country's spending on roads and construction increases demand for the material.
The trading company and ETA Star, a Dubai-based construction firm, will build a plant capable of making 4,200 metric tons of cement a day, Tokyo-based Sojitz said in an e-mailed statement.
