Miyazaki: Hayama Matsuri

Festival with a 100-year history to pray for a good harvest of the year. A horse attractively adorned with artificial flowers, rice stalks and flag-shaped decoration steps on the ground to the sound of music, been followed by people performing local dance.

Location: Hayama-jinja Shrine,, Kabayama, Mimata-cho, Miyazaki

JR Nippo Honsen Line to Mimata Sta., and then take taxi (5 min.)
