“The Butler” is based on the real-life story of an African-American butler who worked in the White House and served eight presidents before retiring in 2008. The film combines the unsavory history of American racism with various vignettes of how each president dealt with it. Forest Whitaker stars as butler Cecil Gaines, and Robin Williams makes a brief but memorable appearance as President Eisenhower.

In line with COVID-19 guidelines, the government is strongly requesting that residents and visitors exercise caution if they choose to visit bars, restaurants, music venues and other public spaces.
