Sweet-faced Hakuho is an 8-year-old Japanese Akita, a noble breed known for its fearlessness and its affection and protectiveness toward family members. The Akita’s loyalty is renowned through the story of Hachiko, the faithful dog immortalized in front of Tokyo’s Shibuya Station. Hakuho’s eyes, framed with long, lush lashes, are deep and beautiful, and though their gaze can melt hearts, he has yet to find a home and remains waiting in the shelter. He is cool toward other dogs, but his passion for toys reveals the deep current of emotion within. Hakuho is an angel on the leash, never pulling or tugging. We’re hoping the only tugs this sweetheart will make are at your heartstrings.
