In-form Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa scored one and set up another as Borussia Dortmund extended its winning start to the season to 11 matches in all competitions with a thumping 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

Dortmund took the lead in the 19th minute when Kagawa picked out Jonas Hofmann's run and the striker slotted the ball inside the far post after Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno made a hash of trying to clear after racing off his line.

Kagawa made it 2-0 in the 58th minute, sliding home to finish off a quick passing move, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang converted from the penalty spot 16 minutes from time to seal his side's fifth consecutive league win.
