TENDO, YAMAGATA PREFECTURE – Nagoya was denied a third straight Nabisco Cup victory at the last minute by Montedio Yamagata as Grampus settled for a 3-3 draw on Wednesday.
Substitute striker Hiroki Bandai’s glancing header from a floating Kim Byeom-yong cross in the 92nd minute allowed Yamagata to share the points with Nagoya, which remains on top of Group B with seven points from the first three games.
