Nagoya was denied a third straight Nabisco Cup victory at the last minute by Montedio Yamagata as Grampus settled for a 3-3 draw on Wednesday.

Substitute striker Hiroki Bandai's glancing header from a floating Kim Byeom-yong cross in the 92nd minute allowed Yamagata to share the points with Nagoya, which remains on top of Group B with seven points from the first three games.

Grampus grabbed the early lead through Akira Takeuchi in the eighth minute before Takefumi Toma equalized after 40 minutes. On the other side of halftime, the visitors went ahead again when Asahi Yada struck in the 49th minute, only to see Toma cancel another lead seven minutes later.
