MIAMI – World No. 5 Kei Nishikori cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Serbia’s Viktor Troicki in the third round of the Miami Open on Monday.
Nishikori, the tournament’s fourth seed, converted five of six break chances against the 39th-ranked Troicki and sealed the win with an overhand smash at just a few minutes past the one-hour mark.
