Gamba Osaka's seven-game win streak came to a screeching halt in a last-gasp 1-0 defeat to Kashiwa Reysol as the former Asian champions tripped up in the J. League title race on Wednesday.

Substitute Tetsuro Ota again scored a 90th-minute winner for Reysol, who beat Kashima Antlers over the weekend, also thanks to a last-minute goal from the 25-year-old striker.

The hottest team in J1, Gamba had closed within four points of leaders Urawa Reds going into Wednesday, but their first loss since Aug. 16 left them five points off the pace with five games remaining.
